Seville and Valencia were nice cities but nothing really special
a few fountains, nice building and massive cathedrals. The
usual European look.
Algiers was really just a convenient place to stop. It is
a fishing village so we had a lovely dinner of fresh fish and
you could really tell the difference.
Gavin got the hang of driving on the right quite quickly,
but we had a few problems with one way streets. It makes map
reading a bit more challenging when you think you can just
go right and then find out that it's one way. So we drove around
a few blocks and saw a bit more of Spain because of it. Driving
between places was also an experience, we went from coastal
roads, through plains, over mountains with snow on the road,
farm land, hilly land with rows and rows of olive trees for
as far as you could see, gorges, red earthy hills - it really
was a mixed bag of terrain. I took a lot of photos out the
car window so hopefully they are good.
