Well considering
I didn’t really know what this was all about I think the
advertising got us there. It has to be one of the best things
we’ve done since we’ve been here, in my opinion. It
is basically a military display with competitions, and brass
bands. There was a dog display team, amazing motorbike stunts;
the gun run competition was unbelievable. The marines showed
their skills by rescuing a hostage, which included abseiling
and flying fox type stuff. The musical horse display was also
really good and the horse team that pulled the guns at full
gallop cannot be described. They did cross-overs and the guns
were so close to crashing. All the horses were sleek and every
uniform perfect and so shiny. There was such precision in every
movement. We were luck enough to be there on the night that
Prince Andrew was there and so we waited after the show to see
him. All and all it was a lot of fun and a great nights entertainment.
