Tracey and
I had taken a walk around Kensington Palace to see the flowers
left for Princess Margaret when we noticed a few people standing
through the hedge by the gate, obviously waiting for something.
Couldn't let the opportunity pass to find out whom they were
waiting for so we lined up with them, right along the barrier.
It turned out to be the Queen, she had been visiting the body
and was driven away with police escort, but not so quickly that
we didn't get a glimpse. She was so close I could of poked a
half metre stick at her car window. Certainly my closest encounter
with royalty. Below are photos of the flowers and a tribute
from a Brownie Pack.
