This is
the second anniversary of Diana’s death. As you can see
the mourning is not over. The gates were covered again with
flowers and messages. Some messages less pleasant than others.
The call is for a monument for her. Some guys sang a song tribute
they made up. Quite good.

Today I
took the tour. It was really well done. You received a hand
held recorder which explained each room. The dress collection
explained the intricacies of being a debutante. Some of the
Queen's dresses were on display as well as some of the royal
children's outfits from over the years. A special exhibition
of Princess Diana's dresses are currently on display. Next along
the tour is the State apartments. They're not the most grand
I've seen but still I wouldn't complain if I lived there. I
really liked the view over the park and the sunken garden.
