Wow, wow,
wow. This is not just a department store but a journey through
Egyptian architecture. It is beautiful; in fact exquisite is
probably a better description. It is definitely an experience
in itself, aside from all the lovely stuff you can get there.
Yes it is pricey, but some of it is also quite reasonable.
As Mr Alfied
owns it, he has placed a memorial to Princess Diana and Dodi
Alfied in one of the lobbies. There are two tables and each
time I’ve been there, there have been fresh flowers and
tribute notes left behind. It’s really peaceful.
