Hampton Court Palace

March 7, 1999

A quick train ride from London and we arrived at Hampton Court Palace, Henry VIII’s favourites. We spent the afternoon walking around the beautiful gardens. I’m very proud of my photos, they look like postcards. The canal stretches for as far as you can see. I’d love to have that in my back yard.

Apparently Henry VIII played tennis while Ann Boelyn was executed. The palace houses one of the original tennis courts. We didn’t get a chance to see it as the palace was closing.
