Chancery Lane

One of the few 15 century buildings to survive the great fire. This is Staple Inn, used for wool bails, then as an Inn for law students. It now houses offices. This is best viewed from Chancery Lane Tube station.

Hodge once belonged to Dr Livingstone, the man responsible for the English dictionary. Unfortunately Hodge's fish keep getting stolen from his statue.

Many hours have been spent writing the first ever English dictionary in these apartments. They of course belong to Dr Livingstone.
