One of the
few 15 century buildings to survive the great fire. This is
Staple Inn, used for wool bails, then as an Inn for law students.
It now houses offices. This is best viewed from Chancery Lane
Tube station.
Hodge once belonged to Dr Livingstone, the man responsible for
the English dictionary. Unfortunately Hodge's fish keep
getting stolen from his statue.
Many hours
have been spent writing the first ever English dictionary in
these apartments. They of course belong to Dr Livingstone.
