We went to Gunnersbury
Museum and were taken back to Victorian times. They were each given
a task from Victorian times. We used the photographs to tell the story
of cooking a meal, doing the laundry and cleaning the house. The children
had drawn their ideas of what houses from a long time ago might be
like. They made intelligent comparisons when we came back.
